Premium Gaming Service:

Vodacom Premium Gaming (Esport plus Casual Games) Service powered by Game Centric / Arbees World is an online subscription based Premium Gaming Service that offers wide variety of Esport Daily Challenges and Casual Games cutting across various gaming categories such as Adventure, Sports, Kids, Action, Adventure, Races as well as Puzzle and Races for gamers to play, experience and enhance their skill levels. You can PLAY as much as you want. You can subscribe to this service through the below channels:

Personal information we collect/process about you

The types of information we collect/process include:

  • Your mobile number
  • Your account information, such as subscription type, payment method (airtime or M-Pesa), subscriber type, dates of payment and date of expiry of subscription
  • Customer care information through your contact with us
  • Information about your usage of the service, such as how often you use it or when you dismiss alerts
  • Gamer ID for Esports

We'll also get information about how you use our products and services, such as:

  • The level of service that you receive – for example, network or service faults and other events that may affect our network services or other services.

When we collect your personal information

We will collect and process your personal information when you contact us in context of provisioning of Premium Gaming Service.

Vodacom will process your personal data based on:

  • The performance of your contract or to enter the contract and to take action on your requests for example, so you can make calls and texts, and browse the internet on your phone, we process things like the numbers you dial, how much data you're using and when you're doing it so we can provide connectivity. This also enables us to generate your bill based on your usage. As part of our commitment to providing you with the best experience, we may notify you about features/services and benefits related to the service you have subscribed to. We also conduct credit checks when you apply for a product or service.
  • Vodacom's legitimate business interests, for example, fraud prevention, maintaining the security of our network and services, direct marketing, and improvement of our services. Whenever we rely on this lawful basis to process your data, we assess our legitimate interests to make sure they do not override your rights.   • Compliance with a mandatory legal obligation, including for example accounting and tax requirements, law enforcement which are subject to strict internal policies and procedures (such as retention periods) and in this instance to provide customer assistive services also known as customer care services that enables our customers to get guidance and assistance to access a variety of our services and resolve fault/issues arising from the services offered.

We are not in the business of selling your personal information, and in this instance, Vodacom only shares a unique identifier of your personal information instead of the actual personal information with partner organization who help us to provide you with the Premium Gaming Service.

International data transfers

No international data transfers – all personal identifiable information are stored within Vodacom Tanzania infrastructures.

Keeping your personal information secure

The Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is used between Vodacom and a third-party vendor to encrypt exchanged data, protect it from eavesdropping and man-in-the-middle attacks, and ensure data integrity during transmission. Further, all Vodacom customer data will be stored within the Vodacom environment in Tanzania.
